About the MIBRAR® Method

What is MIBRAR®?
MIBRAR® (Micro-Invasive Biological Regenerative Autologous Reconstruction) is a patented method for treating spinal conditions without surgery. It uses concentrated growth factors (CGF) and microfragmented adipose tissue (Lipogems®), injected under navigational control directly into the damaged tissue.
How does MIBRAR® differ from standard PRP therapy?
Standard PRP contains 2-3× platelet concentration. MIBRAR® uses CGF (Concentrated Growth Factors) technology with 5-8× concentration, plus a fibrin matrix for prolonged action. Additionally, Lipogems® stem cells from adipose tissue are used. Injection is performed under Cyber Navi Hand™ navigational control with 0.5 mm precision.
What conditions does MIBRAR® treat?
MIBRAR® is effective for: herniated discs, spinal stenosis, arthrosis (knee, hip, shoulder joints), meniscus and ligament injuries, tendinitis, bursitis, tunnel syndromes. Also used in aesthetic medicine — skin rejuvenation, alopecia treatment, scar correction.
Is this experimental treatment?
No. The method is based on more than 20,000 procedures since 2005. All components (CGF, Lipogems®) are CE certified and approved for medical use in the EU. Scientific basis — over 500 peer-reviewed publications on PRP/CGF therapy in orthopedics.

Procedure and Preparation

How does the procedure work?
20-60 ml of blood and/or 20-40 ml of adipose tissue (via micropuncture) are collected. The material is processed in the laboratory in 15-20 minutes. The resulting concentrate is injected precisely into the damaged area under navigational control. The entire procedure takes 30-90 minutes, outpatient.
Is it painful?
The procedure is performed under local anesthesia. Most patients rate discomfort at 2-3 out of 10. General anesthesia is not required. Moderate soreness for 1-3 days after the procedure is possible, managed with standard analgesics.
What preparation is needed?
Stop NSAIDs (ibuprofen, diclofenac) 7 days before. Stop anticoagulants 3 days before (in consultation with your doctor). On procedure day — light breakfast, adequate water. Current MRI images (no older than 3 months).
How many procedures are needed?
In most cases, 1-2 procedures are sufficient. For severe arthrosis or multiple herniations, 2-3 procedures at 4-6 week intervals may be needed. For aesthetic procedures: 2-3 PRP sessions, 1 Lipogems® session.

Recovery and Results

What is the recovery period?
Recovery occurs on the day of the procedure. The patient leaves the clinic in 1-2 hours. Limiting physical activity for 2-3 days is recommended. Full activity — in 1-2 weeks. Sports — in 4-6 weeks.
When will results appear?
First relief: 1-2 weeks (anti-inflammatory effect). Significant improvement: 4-8 weeks (regeneration begins). Maximum result: 3-6 months (complete tissue remodeling). Results continue to improve up to 12 months.
How long does the effect last?
For degenerative joint diseases: 2-5 years, depending on the stage. For disc herniations: in most cases the effect is lasting — the herniation shrinks on MRI. Repeat procedures can be performed without restrictions if needed.
What is the success rate?
95% of patients report significant improvement. 85% avoid the surgery that was previously recommended. Results depend on diagnosis, disease stage and individual factors. Professor Babayan honestly evaluates chances during consultation.

Treatment Organization

How to schedule a consultation?
Online: fill out the form on the website and attach MRI images. The professor will provide an assessment within 48 hours — free of charge. By phone: +49 160 5736643 (WhatsApp, Telegram). Email: planing@pas-mibrar.com. Coordinators respond in 9 languages.
How much does treatment cost?
Cost depends on diagnosis, number of treatment zones and procedure type. Approximately: 1 zone CGF — from 2,500 EUR, CGF + Lipogems® — from 4,500 EUR. Exact cost is determined after MRI analysis. Consultation and assessment — free.
How many days in Munich?
2-3 days: arrival day + consultation, procedure day, follow-up examination. For treatment of multiple zones — 3-5 days. Hospitalization is not required. We help with hotel booking near the clinic.
Do you help with visa and transfer?
Yes. We provide a clinic invitation for a medical visa (expedites processing). We organize airport-hotel-clinic transfers. We help with hotel booking. If needed — interpreter accompaniment.

Safety and Contraindications

What are the risks and side effects?
Since the patient's own tissues are used, allergic reactions are impossible. Possible side effects: moderate soreness for 1-3 days, slight swelling, rarely — bruising at the injection site. All resolve on their own. Infection risk is minimal (less than 0.1%) thanks to sterile single-use equipment.
What are the contraindications?
Absolute: active oncology, acute infections, blood clotting disorders, pregnancy. Relative: anticoagulant use (temporary discontinuation required), active autoimmune diseases in acute phase. Age is not a contraindication — we successfully treat patients aged 18 to 90.
Can MIBRAR® be done after a failed surgery?
Yes, and this is one of the key indications. FBSS (Failed Back Surgery Syndrome) responds well to MIBRAR® treatment. Stem cells restore tissues damaged by surgical intervention and reduce scar adhesions.
