Frequently asked questions

How much does a second orthopedic opinion cost?

The initial MRI assessment is free. You send your scans, and Prof. Babayan personally analyzes your case within 24–48 hours. This is not an automated response — each case is reviewed individually.

What scans do I need to send?

Ideally — MRI scans in DICOM format (on CD/DVD or digital). If not available, send high-quality photos of MRI results. It is recommended to attach your doctor's report and symptom description.

How quickly will I receive a response?

Standard time — 24–48 hours. In urgent cases (acute pain, paralysis risk) — same day. Response is sent via your preferred method: email, WhatsApp, Telegram.

Can I get a second opinion remotely?

Yes, most of our patients receive second opinions remotely. You can send MRI scans through the website form, WhatsApp (+49 160 5736643), or email. Consultation available in Russian, English, German, and Arabic.

What happens after receiving the second opinion?

You receive a detailed report with recommendations. If MIBRAR® is applicable to your case, we offer a treatment plan. If not — we honestly say so and recommend the optimal path. We do not insist on treatment that won't help.

Do you work with international patients?

Yes. Over 40% of our patients are from abroad (Russia, CIS, Arab countries, Europe, Asia). We help organize travel to Munich: visa support, transfer, accommodation. More details on the medical tourism page.
