German insurances

Private Insurance (PKV)

Private German insurances often cover a significant portion of costs. Consultation, diagnostics (ultrasound), CGF therapy, navigation are usually reimbursed. Lipogems® may require additional approval. We recommend: request preliminary approval (Kostenvoranschlag) before the procedure.

Public Insurance (GKV)

Public insurances do not cover MIBRAR, as it is an individual medical service (IGeL). Patients with GKV pay for the procedure themselves. We provide a detailed invoice for tax deduction (aussergewoehnliche Belastung).

Supplementary Insurance (Zusatzversicherung)

Some supplementary policies cover alternative and regenerative treatment methods. Check your policy conditions independently or contact your insurance company.

Foreign insurances

International Policies

Many international medical insurances (Allianz Worldwide, Cigna Global, Bupa International, Aetna International) cover treatment in Germany. Reimbursement depends on the specific policy conditions. Usually covered: specialist consultation, diagnostics, outpatient procedures.

Insurances from CIS Countries

Russian, Kazakh, Uzbek DMS policies usually do not cover treatment abroad. Exception: VIP policies with international coverage. We recommend clarifying with your insurer before the trip.

Arab Insurances

UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar insurances often cover elective treatment abroad with a referral. Preliminary approval (prior authorization) is required. We provide all documents in English.

Travel Insurance

Travel insurances cover only emergency care and do NOT cover elective treatment (including MIBRAR). Do not rely on a travel policy.
