By Type of Activity
Fitness and Gym Training
Typical issues: rotator cuff tendinopathy (bench press, lateral raises), epicondylitis (rows, pull-ups), knee osteoarthritis (squats), shoulder bursitis. MIBRAR allows you to continue training at full intensity within 6-8 weeks.
Alpine Skiing and Snowboarding
ACL injuries, meniscus tears, shoulder injuries (dislocations). Chronic: knee osteoarthritis from years of loading. MIBRAR: recovery in time for the season when treated in summer.
Golf
Golfer's elbow (medial epicondylitis), lower back pain (rotational stress), hip osteoarthritis. MIBRAR: return to your swing within 6-8 weeks.
Yoga and Pilates
Shoulder impingement (overhead arm positions), hip pain (deep hip openers), wrist problems (arm loading). MIBRAR restores full range of motion.
Cycling
Patellar chondromalacia (prolonged knee flexion), lower back pain (flexed position), carpal tunnel syndrome (vibration and pressure). MIBRAR: cartilage regeneration of the patella.
CrossFit and Functional Training
High intensity, complex movements. Shoulder and elbow tendinopathy, spine injuries (herniated discs from heavy lifts and explosive movements), knee osteoarthritis. MIBRAR: return to training with technique correction.
Principles of Return to Activity
Gradual Progression
After MIBRAR: light training begins in 2-4 weeks, full intensity within 6-12 weeks. The 10% rule: increase volume by no more than 10% per week.
Technique Correction
Many injuries result from improper technique. After MIBRAR, we recommend working with a trainer: movement correction, elimination of overload causes. Treat not just the symptom, but the underlying cause.
Muscle Strengthening
Strong muscles protect joints. Implement a stabilizer muscle strengthening program before returning to your primary activity. Eccentric exercises for tendons.
Monitoring
Follow-up ultrasound at 3 months. MRI at 6-12 months. Assess progress and adjust loading.
Don't Give Up Your Active Life
MIBRAR restores your body for any type of activity.
